With Eurobike here and Interbike just around the hairpin, we’re starting to get peaks at all the new tech releases headed toward us. And because the good people at Fix It Sticks just refuse to quit being awesome, they’ve got a new way to carry your tools on the bike (we’ve got reviews of Fix It Sticks and BackBottle in case you’re wondering).

The Bracket Tool Holder

If you’re one who hates both saddle bags and stuffing your jersey pockets, Fix It Sticks might just have something for you. The Bracket is a tool holder designed to mount under any standard water bottle cage, which allows you to save space and keep from forgetting those few tools that can fix 80% of problems on the road or trail (yes, we’ve tried those tools. And, yes, they are perfect for using on-the-road).

Copy of C-2Fix It Sticks simply snap into The Bracket and deploy in seconds for quick repairs or lightening fast position changes to keep you pedaling. According to users of the prototype, they also stick to the mount without ejecting–even on ‘cross and mountain rides.

The Bracket holds two Original Fix It Sticks with each set weighing in at 55 grams and offering 4 tools. The “sticks” then nest together into a T-handle wrench to give you maximum comfort, ease of use, and torque. The Originals represent the minimalist approach to carrying tools on the bike. Sets come in a variety of configurations depending on your bicycle type / need. Original Fix It Sticks contain bits that are permanently fixed; the company also offers their Replaceable Edition, which gives you removable bits.
