How often have you watched the Tour de France, the Vuelta, or the Amgen Tour of California and drooled over all the pretty bikes the pros are riding? Well, now you could own the very same bike you’ve watched climb mountains, sprint to the finish, or suffer through a time trial. In case you didn’t know, many pro riders don’t get to keep their team bikes at the end of the year–something that surprised me when I heard it. But out with the old, and in with the new, right?

So what is probably kind of a bummer for the pro riders is actually kind of an awesome deal for their fans. Team Garmin-Sharp is selling off its line of 2013 and 2014 Cervélo bikes that have more than likely seen action in some of the biggest races of the pro tour. It’s a bit of a consolation for the season coming to an end, right?

If you’re in the market for a newish Cervélo, you might get lucky and snag a top-of-the-line model straight from the team bus. Head over to the Slipstream Sports website for a smattering of options (some of which were not actually used in a race, but your riding friends don’t need to know that, right?), but to really get the goods you’ll have to email the team to get on the list–click on the link above for their email address.

And don’t worry, I’m sure they’re not selling any of the bikes that have been crashed or thrown by the roadside in anger . . . although, that might make for a pretty great story when you roll up to your next group ride.
