If there’s one thing in road cycling culture that causes anxiety–more than clipless pedals–it’s getting your kit just right. Kask, makers of some very excellent helmets and some dang Koo sunglasses, have teamed up with designer and former pro rider Iris Slappendel to create a new collection of coordinated women’s bike apparel.
Released under the moniker, “Protect Your Style,” the new collaboration includes a Protone helmet, jersey, socks, and cap. All of which are designed to work expertly with each other.
KASK’S PROTECT YOUR STYLE CYCLING KIT RELEASED
The new project builds on the ‘KASK For Women’ initiative that aims to empower and inspire women to pursue their dreams equipped with the highest performing products to meet the specific expectations and needs of female users.
The Protect Your Style kit will be available in selected stores globally from the middle of December and will include a no-muss-no-fuss matched components all designed by Dutch National Road Champion and current apparel designer, Iris Slappendel.
Iris says, “I design cycling clothes that are fashionable, so you have more fun on your bike. When designing the Protect Your Style range I was influenced by bold colours and geometric lines, it was great fun experimenting on where they would fit best and I’m really happy with how the items have turned out, they work really well together.”

Of course, you’ll still need to pair the kit with your favorite bib shorts. But the easy to match accessories work well with black or matched accent colors.
You may recognize Wiggle High5 Pro Cycling rider, and multiple Italian National Champion and classics winner, Elisa Longo Borghini as the model for the new kit. A fierce competitor, and great match for the “Kask for Women” initiative.
The Protect Your Style kit will include:

- Jersey, branded KOO, the new brand from KASK
- Cap, branded KOO, the new brand from KASK
- Socks, branded KOO, the new brand from KASK
All the items in the Protect Your Style kit will be available in small, medium or large, with the jersey which is also available in XS and XL. Available from mid December, in store.
All products in the Protect Your Style kit are 100% designed and made in Italy, which adds a level of quality assurance as Kask oversees the production.
